How to be Safe Online

Kia ora bloggers, this is how to be safe online AND offline. If you every get a free money link don’t click it because it could be a scam and you can loose your whole account. Do not give anyone you don’t know money or else they can scam you and you will be sad.

Also do not pick up any calls from an unknown person because they can track your number down and find your house. Be careful for fake accounts like a fake Auckland bank account.

If you ever get a mean comment take a screenshot for proof and tell an adult like a parent at home or a teacher at school. Always get permission to do stuff to take pictures or videos of people to see if they allow you to.

Be safe and bye bye

Making A Weather Balloon

Hello, today you will be learning how to make a weather balloon using paper mache.

Goal: To make over 5 layers of my paper balloon in a week

Material: Newspaper, glue, balloon, vaseline, water, peg, cloth, container, paint and paint tray.

    •   Rip a lot of newspaper
    •   Get a clean cloth and put it on the table
    •   Get 10 clean containers of sticky glue
    •   Put some tap water in the sticky glue
    •   Blow a big balloon up
    •   Dip the newspaper in the glue
    •   Put a lot of newspaper on the balloon
    •   Look for any holes, big rips or sticky flaps
    •   Make over 5 amazing layers
    •   Make it look amazing and cool with paint
    •   Let it dry for a bit
    •   Hang it up on your roof in a great spot
    •   Flex on your friends.

Thanks for reading my blogpost. Something I found hard was the paper macheing cause it never sticks on the balloon and always takes long. something I learnt was don’t rush and no shortcuts cause if you didn’t it wouldn’t turn out good. And finally something I liked was painting the balloon layers cause I felt like an artist.

Have you ever done paper mache?

Hope you have a wonderful, amazing and awesome day, see you later goodbye.

T-Ball

On Friday May 13th 2022, my class played tea ball, but lots of them didn’t know how to play. After we learnt how to play, it sounded like lots of fun. First I was in the batting team and while I was waiting everybody was cheering and saying “let’s go!”. When it was finally my turn I didn’t hit it that far but I still ran to the 2nd base. The next person let me go to the end and he went too. My team ended with 17 points which I thought was pretty good. I thought that we were going win – which I hoped was true.

Once it was the other team’s turn to bat they got lots of points. But then I got someone out and I was super happy! I caught the ball as it flew through the air. The other team’s points stack up like cups of water. They kept on getting points. When the game was almost over, there were a few people left and the points were 15 to 17, everybody was anxious. At the end of the game it was 18 to 17 and we lost. The other team was celebrating so much that some people flipped over. But the most important thing was to have fun.
